Rui Malvarez holds a degree in Advertising and Marketing and has built a multifaceted career over more than 15 years as a university lecturer, marketing manager, advertiser, screenwriter and director. In 2016 he founded FIM – Forever in Movies, producing over 300 commercial films in six years, most of them written and directed by him. In 2022 he sold FIM to Deloitte and began a new chapter as an author, writing and starring in the shows "Passei à História" and "Fora de Tom", both sold out multiple times at Teatro Villaret in Lisbon. In 2024 he released the children's book "Ser Diferente é Normal", nominated for Best Children's Book at the Gala de Autores. In 2026 he premieres the digital series "Vai-se Andando". He regularly teaches at university level and delivers creativity workshops for companies and the general public.
